How to Look Younger Naturally - At Home Plan - What you need at 30, 40, 50, 60 skincare

Look younger naturally at home - what you need at 30, 40, 50, 60 skincare

30s - Noticing a sunspot or two? Maybe a few fine lines?

To look younger naturally (and stay looking about 10 years younger through your lifetime), this is when you should be really implementing a good skincare program, like a weekly exfoliation, maybe some light microneedling or red light. This will help keep your skin in top form by continuing cell production and boosting collagen. Stay hydrated, keep your skin plump and firm with a good moisturizer and light serum.

40s - More lines, deeper furrows, lackluster skin

Step it up! Definitely a good exfoliation weekly + microcurrent to keep you muscles "in place" + microneedling/dermarolling and/or red light.

This is when t are most needed to stave off future damage. If you implement a good system now, you'll be SO much happier in the next 10 years.  Stay with it each week and you'll maintain result so much more!

50s - The damage is done, or is it?

If you've been a good girl and done the work, your skin will be paying you back. Yes, you'll have some sagging and deeper wrinkles, but you'll be able to easier fix those with some weekly maintenance. To look younger naturally (with at home treatments) double up on your dermarolling/microcurrent.

Add a good quality oil to your routine (I like Marula). Learn less is more with makeup -- a little concealer, highlighter, lipstick and eye liner/mascara. Ditch anything heavy to keep your skin glowing. This is when you might consider adding RF (radio frequency) to your routine.

 Chritie's 60! OMG

60s - Relax

See all above and know that if you've done the work, you're going to likely be looking much more youthful NATURALLY. This is when you accept your line (you've earned them) and you just want to keep the glow and some collagen boost so your skin maintains it's energy.

Yes, you can still lift, firm, tone and de-line your skin...to a point. If you are just starting with it all, don't despair, just know it takes a bit longer to train your muscles and skin to do what you want. Keep at it and you'll see results. Good: microcurrent, exfoliation, red light, oils and good serums.

FILLER GUIDE - What do you need at what age?

I don't claim to be an expert, but just from what I've observed in my own skincare and in the world (of many overfilled celebrities and people), I would suggest a dermatologist routine such as:

30s - a drop of Botox if you just can't stand those forehead lines. It will keep lines from getting super deep. You don't need much else (regardless of what the Kardashians think).

40s - a little Botox and maybe a bit of filler in either lips OR cheeks. You really shouldn't do both unless you like looking filled. I always think a little filler is better than doing everything.

50s - definitely when you want to consider some lip help. If you can redefine with a dermarolling (start this in your 40s to maintain lip line), then bypass it. Or if you need a little, this is most likely when I see filler in the cheeks and lips that looks most natural. Again... a LITTLE is helpful. Start with one vial and see what you think. It might be just enough to look better without people thinking you look "different." Isn't that what we're after?

60s - keep it minimal. Good skin and just a touch of filler is best. No 60 year old has super plump lips, cheeks and absolutely no lines unless they've overdone it. Natural is the name of the game here so if you go for filler, don't get talked into 2 or 3 vials. Do one and assess the look for a few weeks. If you want/need more, go back. You can always add, but waiting for overdone filler to dissipate is no fun.

I first started filler and Botox in my late 30s. If I could do it again, I skip the filler (nasolabial lines) and only do a touch of Botox to keep my super expressive, deep forehead lines at bay. The filler was dumb. It might have helped in the moment, but I could have lived without it. Unfortunately, I didn't have some of the tools I now have.

Those came around in my 40s and once I started using those, I realized I had more control over my collagen and didn't need so much outside help!

Now, in my 50s, I rarely get anything, although I do still like a touch of Botox in my 11 lines (forehead) as they get tend to get deep. (But this mask protocol is working great to beat those line and keep my collagen boosted!)

Otherwise, I dermaroll, microcurrent and red light + RF + good serums. This keeps me (mostly) where I want to be. I like glowing, clear, smooth skin. A little sag or line here and there is natural so I am cool with it.

I often am told (by doctors and others) that I look younger and have nice skin so I think I'm on the right track ... for me. I don't need to try to look 30 again. It's fake and way too much work and unhappiness to not accept myself as I am now...but try to make it the best me NOW I can be.

You do you.

Time Master PRO works as the ultrasound waves cause a vibration of the surrounding skin tissues, known as "cascade of inter-cellular communication." It strengthens and lifts. As you move the device your skin will feel tighter, almost immediately.  As you pass the treated area, and throughout this process, oxygen to the cells increases and removes wastes in the pores. The  non-thermal (no heat)  action of ultrasound is beneficial because of the rapid oscillation of tissue promotes movement between inner and outer cells and increases fibrobl

The Battle Between CLAREBLEND MINI and NuFace (Outcome Results) Which is the better home microcurrent machine?

HOW THE MINI BEATS NuFACE 1. It's cheaper 2. Nodes are smaller 3. More effective (in my opinion) OK, let's talk about why the MINI beats the NuFace. First, it's cheaper. The regular NuFace costs several hundreds of dollars. Even the "mini" version is $350++. The MINI is just $359 But not for you, oh dear subscriber. For you, it's just $299 But, you knew that already, right? SECOND: The nodes are smaller and fit oh-so-well under the lips, eyes and cheekbones on the MINI. the NuFace nodes are rather large and you have to buy more attachments (!!) to make them fit well under the lips and eyes. I'm not sure what the reasoning is for this, but it seems like just an overall firming/toning device vs. a selective area device. I prefer the latter. THIRD: My MINI and my NuFace work pretty consistently to get a firmer, toned look fairly quickly. However... With the Mini, I get no zaps, pain or sting. NADA. NONE. ZILCH. The NuFace will zap you good if you don'

Facemaster vs. NuFace vs. Ultra Renew Plus (Truth in Aging) -- UPDATED

OK, I've been meaning to do this post for awhile. As an avid "anti-aging" skincare advocate (and licensed esthetician), I am pretty good at figuring out what's what with skincare and various products. But when it comes to home devices, it's hard to tell until you actually use it. I've used Facemaster for several years (6+), NuFace for about 5+ and Ultra Renew Plus for a few months. I feel equipped to give an unbiased review. Ready? Facemaster, the home lifting/anti-aging device by Suzanne Somers: I still use the two-prong device and haven't updated to the newer one-hand device, but all in all, this machine isn't bad. I used for several years and found that when used weekly, I got pretty decent results. Now, here's the caveat: You need some sort of conductive serum (Ms. Somers has one to use with it). I used hers as well as others (copper serums, aloe vera, etc.). The bottom line: Use something without oil. Aloe vera seems to work fine, bu
