Best Primer for Filling Over 40 Skin Cracks

Terrific primer, if used correctly! I've used a LOT of primers including Geller, Mercier, Smashbox, Olay. You get the idea. The one I'm most impressed with for filling hollows (under eyes) and cracks is definitely the Loreal Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting Base. I'm not sure how "magic" it is, but this stuff does work. The trick it use it right. This one doesn't go all over the face, or you risk getting little "pills" of product that ball up under foundation. But...if you use it in just your most severely cracked areas (nose to mouth, forehead, eye area), you'll get super results. Use a light hand with it. It is very heavy compared to other primers, hence it's great "filling" properties. I love it in my under-eye hollows that are forming. I apply this the fill the area, then my foundation and concealer. By layering lightly, I get a really nice finished look.   TRY IT! Give it try with my link above for a trial size!

Latest Trend for Fast FAT Loss...does it work?

Have you heard about the latest workout trend? It's known by several names: Burst, Tabata, Hiit, High Metabolic Interval and more. It's what the Insanity workout and new Jillian Michaels workout is based on, as well as countless others. Learn more about Jillian Michaels Body Revolution (15 DVD's) What is it? Essentially it's simply working out for a MAXIMUM (huffing and puffing ad sweating) rate for a short time. This means doing intervals that are super high intensity (squat jumps, plyometrics) for several seconds (20 or 30, usually) and then a short rest (10 or 15 seconds) and then repeating several times. Hard? Yes. Great results fast? Yes. I've been doing this for a few weeks and I'm not lying...my legs are looking more toned than they have in 20 years. It's fast and you basically "get in and get out." I'm loving it and you might too. Here's one to try (see below)... See the 90 second workout

What to do with crappy skincare products

Here's a tip: Whenever you have the disappointing and frustrating experience of buying the next "miracle" skincare cream or serum that just absolutely promises to make you look 20 years younger (and doesn't)...put it on your bedside table. Instead of letting old products that are less than thrilling collect dust in your bathroom or tossing them and completely losing money, just use them on your hands at night before bed. Don't use plain, old handcream for anti-aging; use your reject skincare creams on your hands and then put on your handcream OVER the skincare, if necessary. Doing this will help you anti-age your hands and provide a good way to use up products that don't seem to do much for your face. Since you rarely anti-age your hands, you'll see better results hereI've been doing this for a couple of years (religiously) and it really has helped my hands be less crepey and old looking. Review: Estroven Nighttime: Solution that works or scam?

It's nuts. One day you're sleeping like a rock...the next you're fighting for just 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Whether it's early wakening, waking several times per night or the awful night sweats, hormones can serious wreak havoc in your life. Finding a solution can be just as frustrating. Hormones, sleep aids, prescriptions, anti-anxiety pills, vitamins, herbs...what works? One product found to actually WORK and work fast without next-day hangover is the Estroven Nighttime formula. This is a somewhat newer formula from Estroven and has some sleep helpers (like melatonin) included. After trying several different things, I am so happy to report this stuff works! I do take a little extra melatonin with it (a combo that works for me). When I find something that works, I like to share since this is such a frustrating problem and one that many docs just don't seem to "get." (It's got good reviews on amazon and on other blogs, too!)

John's Hopkins Cancer Update: What to Avoid to Lower Risk

John's Hopkins Cancer Update *FYI: This was sent to me via email and I've copied it here for you with only minor editing* Cancer Update from Johns Hopkins: 1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have  multiplied to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients  that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the  cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable  size. 2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person's lifetime. 3. When the person's immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and  forming tumors. 4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has  nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic,  but also to environmental, food and lifestyle factors. 5. To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies,

Honest Review: Nerium Skincare

Have you heard about Nerium? I hadn't either, but while watching some videos about microcurrent (a favorite skinlifter of mine), I started seeing it pop up, so I investigated. And, of course, I bought it. The before and afters looked great, but I have to say I was prepared to not be that impressed. I mean, I've tried umpteen types of skincare and products and most don't do much, if anything, to impress me. However, I'm finding myself rather loving this product. It's not quite like anything I've used before. For example, it's really thick and has a bit of an odor. After applying it full-strength a few nights I realized I need my face or finger to be a bit wet and the thick product would spread on better. Either way...I'm really seeing some results in my skin. It's firmer, smoother, brighter, tighter...everything I want! It's not immediate and it took a few days to really see something great, but I've used it for about 3 weeks

Review: Adonia LegTone Serum...Does it work?

Man-oh-man, did I ever want this product to work! I saw the ads everywhere and thought I'd check it out. So after searching the web and seeing Youtube videos I bought it. SUCKA! Taken for my money is what I am and still lumpy and bumpy, even after using it daily (sometime 3x a day) for the past few weeks. Girls, save your money on this one. After buying it I did more research and found similar "advice" on amazon...it's a loser. I wish I'd seen these reviews before I bought it. I get better results overall with the Nivea Goodbye Cellulite line (not amazing, but at least noticeable!). I wonder if I'll ever learn? :( ---------------

Life over 40..Tips and Trends to Stay Happy

www.agelessmojo.com 6 Tips to Stay Hip, Sexy and Not Desperate Over 40: 1. Be sure to stay current with fashion trends and ADAPT them to your style and age. For example, sapphire blue skinny jeans are hot, but they may not be for you now. So instead, wear a sapphire blue scarf, jewelry, accessories, etc. to adopt the color trend without being a fashion victim. 2. Every year do something different with your makeup . If you've been wearing berry lipstick for the past 15 years, change to a pink or neutral. If you always rim your inner waterline with black, switch to dark grey, navy or deep plum. You get the idea. 3. Buy something you LOVE every season. Buy something you feel amazing in and wear it out! 4 . Quit fretting about your body and wear shapewear and get on with your life. I've spent hours obsessing over bumps and rolls and sometimes you've just gotta don the SPANX and get on with it. 5. See a doctor who knows something about aging and women . S
