Can Organic Soaps Provide Skin Protection?

Skin Protection Given By Organic Soaps

We can never deny the fact that there are several people who are so vain when it comes to their skin. They are willing to try out each and every skin product that they’ll find in the market, and they don’t care about the prices. However, we have to accept the reality that the majority of commercialized skin care products is jam-packed with synthetic ingredients, chemicals, artificial colors, as well as simulated preservatives and thickeners. Whether you believe it or not, your skin is continuously and highly exposed to various irritants.

Though it is considered as inevitable and essential product today, soap is also deemed as a powerful skin irritant. Since it is proclaimed as an excellent skin regime, soaps must justify the essence of the terms ‘gentle’ and ‘non-harmful’. This is the primary reason why there are many skin specialists who recommend the usage of organic soaps. There are organic homemade soaps that embody the spirit of lemon grass, …

Product Review: Beautiful Chest Decollete Pad

For several years I tried this and that to "delete" my chest wrinkles after sleeping on my side and squeezing my chest to create vertical wrinkles that would sometimes stick around for not only hours, but create permanent creases (you side-sleepers know what I'm talking about).

I have two remedies that work:

One is to tri-fold and then roll up a large tee shirt (a men's shirt or XL works great). I secure it with a rubber band and then a silk ribbon. I stick it down the front of my shirt (between breasts) and "hug" it while I sleep. This does really work!

The other is the Beautiful Chest Decollete Pad. I order these in doubles and keep them around. They work very well to not only help you not get the wrinkles in the first place, but also "iron" out creases that exist. The only caveat is that they wear out (lose the sticky backing), but I find if I wash it in warm water and let it air-dry in the morning I can prolong the backing and therefore it…

How to Gain Peace and Be Happy

The search for peace in life is never-ending for many people. As you buy the latest self-help book, watch endless episodes of Oprah and take in the resolve to "Let Go and Let God," remember one thing...Pain in inevitable; misery is optional.

I saw this posted in a dental office one day and having never seen it before (this was years ago), it was revelatory to me. It resonated. It's true. Pain is inevitable in life, but suffering with misery about it is truly your option to do or not to do.

As you go through your day today, try to remember this simple saying and refocus your mind around it. Will you choose to suffer. Will you choose to accept the pain and banish misery?

It's naturally easier said than done, but if you try to do this daily, it really can help you maintain a sense of control and therefore happiness about what you life brings you.
