Trendy Top: Is it a total scam or just bad service?

OK, so I'm a sucker. I'll freely admit it. I saw the infomercial for Trendy Top and thought "yeah, that's just what I need!" So I toddled off to my computer and tried to order.

First problem, there are NO SIZE equivalents listed on the site. Just Small/Med, Large, XL. What they equate to nobody seems to know. I called customer service who told me they are just a call center and don't have the info.

REAL HELPFUL.

I decided to order anyway and through the process was told I could order another set FREE and just pay extra shipping. I thought "OK, I'll get set of Small/MED and one set of Large." That will cover me depending on how they run (I wear an 8). Besides, there's always ebay if things don't turn out well.

Wrong again.

When I finally got through the process after clicking "No Thanks" on many additional offers (don't you hate that?) my order confirmation came up and it appears I've not only been charged extra shipping for the second set, but also another $10.00 after being told it would be free.

Seems like Trendy Top needs to do some work on service, information, etc. Just an FYI for any of you going down the same suckerville road I travel so often.

I'll post update after it arrives to let you know what it's like.

UPDATE:
Got them and like them in the darker colors. Lighter colors just make you look twice as wide, which is not the thing I like. I don't wear them as often as I thought I would and after all is said and done, probably wouldn't bother buying them again.

  1. Got the same raw deal. WAY too much money for what seems to be a clever idea. You can return the merchandise when it comes, but you don't get all the shipping and processing fees back, so you're still out a whole lot of money. There was no screen to review your order before finalizing it, so you only know you've been screwed when it's too late to fix it.

  2. More like Trendy Trash, than Trendy Top. Sorry - this is a "joke" of a product. I put it on, was fine for approx 20-30 min. until it started ROLLING DOWN, SLIDING UP. Exatly what it claimed 'not' to do. Granted I was at work & no I don't do backflips at work... however trendy top repeatedly rode up from the bottom, down from the top. Thought it might stay in place as it claimed, as I bend down/over frequently at work & I wear scrub pants (non-silky pants). How wrong I was!

Unable in good consciousness to recommend this product. I threw mine in the trash after only 30 minutes of frustrating wear. Got 2 - so unless we can use it to dry the car after a car wash, it too is useless. The only good thing is that I ordered it from ebay so other than being out the purchase price no additional fees. Sorry for those of you that ordered direct. Thank you for posting your reviews to help others before they too are out a lot of money.

    1. I will not be buying the Trendy Top based on the customer reviews. More negative than positive. It doesn't make any difference whether you keep or return the item, because Trendy Top makes money either way. You do not get all of your money refunded, & postage is expensive. If the item was free I would try them. Customer reviews are a very helpful guide.

Time Master PRO works as the ultrasound waves cause a vibration of the surrounding skin tissues, known as "cascade of inter-cellular communication." It strengthens and lifts. As you move the device your skin will feel tighter, almost immediately.  As you pass the treated area, and throughout this process, oxygen to the cells increases and removes wastes in the pores. The  non-thermal (no heat)  action of ultrasound is beneficial because of the rapid oscillation of tissue promotes movement between inner and outer cells and increases fibrobl

The Battle Between CLAREBLEND MINI and NuFace (Outcome Results) Which is the better home microcurrent machine?

HOW THE MINI BEATS NuFACE 1. It's cheaper 2. Nodes are smaller 3. More effective (in my opinion) OK, let's talk about why the MINI beats the NuFace. First, it's cheaper. The regular NuFace costs several hundreds of dollars. Even the "mini" version is $350++. The MINI is just $359 But not for you, oh dear subscriber. For you, it's just $299 But, you knew that already, right? SECOND: The nodes are smaller and fit oh-so-well under the lips, eyes and cheekbones on the MINI. the NuFace nodes are rather large and you have to buy more attachments (!!) to make them fit well under the lips and eyes. I'm not sure what the reasoning is for this, but it seems like just an overall firming/toning device vs. a selective area device. I prefer the latter. THIRD: My MINI and my NuFace work pretty consistently to get a firmer, toned look fairly quickly. However... With the Mini, I get no zaps, pain or sting. NADA. NONE. ZILCH. The NuFace will zap you good if you don'

Facemaster vs. NuFace vs. Ultra Renew Plus (Truth in Aging) -- UPDATED

OK, I've been meaning to do this post for awhile. As an avid "anti-aging" skincare advocate (and licensed esthetician), I am pretty good at figuring out what's what with skincare and various products. But when it comes to home devices, it's hard to tell until you actually use it. I've used Facemaster for several years (6+), NuFace for about 5+ and Ultra Renew Plus for a few months. I feel equipped to give an unbiased review. Ready? Facemaster, the home lifting/anti-aging device by Suzanne Somers: I still use the two-prong device and haven't updated to the newer one-hand device, but all in all, this machine isn't bad. I used for several years and found that when used weekly, I got pretty decent results. Now, here's the caveat: You need some sort of conductive serum (Ms. Somers has one to use with it). I used hers as well as others (copper serums, aloe vera, etc.). The bottom line: Use something without oil. Aloe vera seems to work fine, bu
